Vivian Z. Chavez has been a dedicated leader at Legal Services of Greater Miami, Inc. since 1998, currently serving as Chief Operating Officer. With extensive experience in operations, human resources, program administration and legal advocacy, she plays a key role in guiding the organization’s strategic and administrative functions. Chavez is a licensed attorney in Florida and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida with a strong background in nonprofit leadership and public interest law. She holds a Juris Doctor from Loyola University School of Law and a Bachelor of Science in elementary education from Florida International University. Her commitment to community service and excellence has earned her multiple recognitions, including the Steven M. Goldstein Award for Excellence and leadership honors from The Florida Bar Foundation and The Miami Foundation.
