David Sharfman, M.S. is the Sr. Chief Business Officer for Miami Bridge Youth & Family Services and is responsible for both the tactical and strategic growth of the agency’s Human Resources Practice, Facilities and Construction, Information Technology and Data, and programs supported by the Department of Agriculture and the Federal Department of Transportation.
With his extensive experience of more than 25 years in the corporate arena, having supported numerous Fortune 100 clients (many through his previous employment with Digitas Inc. and Inktel Direct) such as , Saab, AT&T, St. Jude Children’s Hospital, FedEx, Sony Consumer Electronics, Monster.com and Royal Caribbean and Celebrity Cruise lines he has a comprehensive understanding of business management and finding solutions to complex problems. His oversight at both shelter campuses for Miami Bridge has been instrumental in its being awarded capital grants in working with the City of Homestead, City of Miami, and Miami-Dade County. These have brought about an increase in the quality of both the residential and community-based work and living space.
Mr. Sharfman holds a Master of Science degree, with a focused study in conflict negotiation and mediation, from Clark University in Massachusetts. He is active with ASPCA, Dachshund Rescue South Florida and in his spare time enjoys the beach, skiing, biking and reading.
